We humans are by nature a credulous lot. We are almost genetically guided by tribal myths, sacred beliefs, collective illusions, traditional resentments. Peace and good government – a civilized society – can only be achieved by a relentless pursuit of truth and exposure of error. “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)
The purpose of this blog is to examine the society in which I live, that of Quebec and Canada, and expose as best I can the multiple falsehoods that impede the achievement of a country that is harmonious, solidary and just. Veritas liberat… La vérité vous libérera… The truth will set you free.
